Colombia is one of the most underrated, inspiring, and transformative countries in the world! This 9-day trip will show you the best this beautiful country has to offer and leave each traveler with stories of Colombian innovation, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes.

This trip leads you through the incredibly stunning and diverse scenery of Colombia:  Medellin, the city of "Eternal Spring," the world-famous coffee region in the mountains, colorful streets in Cartagena, and even a Caribbean island surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Along the way, you'll find endless street food, valleys filled with the tallest palms on Earth, towering waterfalls, a view of Guatape that's right out of a painting, symbolic street art, and desserts filled with arequipe (your new favorite!).

In Medellin, we will learn about the city's cultural and social transformation, learn its history from local artists, visit innovative community projects such as the rooftop community gardens, and get expansive views over the city from the cable car. We'll take a day trip to Guatape to see a traditional charming town with cobble-stoned streets and colorful facades, climb a huge natural rock, see the beautiful landscapes from the top, and take a boat ride around the lake.

From Medellin, we'll fly to Salento in the famous coffee region. There we will take jeeps to a coffee farm to learn about the process of growing coffee and tasting some in the most stunning cafe we've ever seen. Next, we'll take the jeeps out for the day to Valle de Cocora, where you'll find green grass, Wax Palm forests, a hummingbird sanctuary, and hot chocolate served traditionally with cheese. The group will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery, learn about the nature of this one-of-a-kind place, and have the chance to hike around the reserve. Each traveler can choose to join for the 5-hour hike, 1.5-hour hike, or no hike. The elevation of Valle de Cocora is around 2,400 meters/7,900 feet.

From Salento, we'll fly to Cartagena to end the trip on a lively note! You can walk through the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, try Colombian salsa, and join the group for happy hour on the city walls overlooking the ocean. On our full day in Cartagena, we'll embark on an island tour to spend some time relaxing (or paddleboarding or swimming or adventuring...) on some white sandy beaches!

Join us for the best cup of coffee you've ever had and an unforgettable cultural experience.

LOVED THE VARIETY

"I really enjoyed all of it - the trip definitely exceeded my expectations. The group leaders were ridiculously awesome. The places were SO clean and fun and interesting. The transportation was all really comfortable, and it was definitely nice that it was mostly private. I loved the variety offered in the trip - historical tours to food-based experiences to outdoorsy athletic stuff - really great."
